Every body in good Ol' America was glue to any number of channels showing the McCain vs O'Bama debate. I honestly wanted to watch but I love me some Blue Note.

Thank You, Madlib well Alfred Lions and Francis Wolff.
Blue Note - A Story of Modern Jazz (1997) directed and written by Julian Benedikt aired last night on Ovation TV. Great Documentary and Channel!!!
This documentary follows the time line of legendary label, Blue Note records, a jazz set that specialized in "hard bop" style of jazz (mixing 'bebop' with other forms of music). German immigrants Alfred Lion and writer Max Margulis founded Blue Note in 1939 with photographer Francis Wolff.
