My first encouter with Tom shoes was a couple of Agenda trade shows back. I was shopping for a women shoe line that would sit good next to Keep. I met the west coast sales rep and he began to explain the Toms movement. I was instantly a fan. Submerged in a industry were money is usually a one way road its quite refreshing to hear about companies who actually give back to the community. Toms mission is simple: for every pair of shoes purchased they will give another pair to some one in need.
Today, Toms will be premiering "The Toms Story" in association with the Tribeca Film Festival. This should be a very interesting event and possible one not to miss.
