In recent years, it seems like every girl in the world favorite occupation went from being a "Princess" to "Model". I can't really pinpoint one exact reason why so many women have decided on the latter path but for the longest time fashion had somewhat required a This year there is a twist, the producers of every girl's *secret* obsession America's next Top Model have deviated away from the traditional height requirements and are now looking for models AT OR UNDER five feet and seven inches (5'7") in height. According to Tyra Banks, your luck has finally changed.
“There have been top supermodels in the past that weren’t as tall as the industry demands, like fashion icon Kate Moss,” said Tyra Banks in a press release announcing the casting call. “So we are changing up ‘Top Model’ for cycle 13 and making it a year for the shorter model!”
So all you 5'7 and under girls with the crazy model mayhem, myspace and facebooks modeling pictures here is your chance to become America's next Top Model.
I was told not to forget to put this**If you're over the 5'7" maximum, do not let this deter you; the guidelines also indicate that "Producers reserve the right to make case-by-case exceptions" (translation: if you're 5'9" and AMAZING you may get by)**.

Tips for the Audition via Casting Director(Michelle Mock-Falcon):
(1) Wear a tank top, jeans, and heels. I think girls think if they come like that, they’ll feel underdressed. Then they’re shocked if I call back the one girl in the line that’s Plain Jane. They’re like, ‘Ohmygod, I got this, I spent this much money.’ It’s not about that.
(2) Come as natural as can be. We’ve had girls who’ve had to go take all their makeup off because they have so much of it on. Girls come in wigs and all sorts of things. Really, we just need to see through all of that.
