R.I.P. & Harlem Grubs

Last Night while cruising to the local bodega on 14Th street between the times 2-215AM. An unknown deck traced back to a gift from RF Goliath(thanks Rose!!) was damaged and mangled beyond belief. A very fine skateboard collaboration between the store RF Goliath(Harlem) and Zoo York.
Literally skated this deck on 4 different occasions for a total maximum of 4 hours.
The good die young...

On a serious note...
I may have found my new favorite restaurant in NYC. No its not the newest & trendiest place in L.E.S., Meat packing or Hells Kitchen, it's Amy Ruth in Harlem, USA.
Over the past 6 days I have been twice. For me, that is a milestone. Not that I don't go to the same places often but I never travel to other sections of NYC outside the East Village. One taste of Amy Ruth baked mac & cheese I knew I would never be the same(sorry mom!!).
Located on 113 W. 116Th(off the 2 or 3 train) since 1998, Amy Ruth has catered to all your home cooked southern craving. Ribs, chicken, collard greens, yams, okay I'm going to stop as I am getting hungry just thinking about their food and I have a few ribs left over I might have to "code red".

Once you entered the cosy setting, you will notice most customers ordering/eating the waffles and fried chicken wings($8) which is my new favorite value meal in the world. Amy Ruth prices are very reasonable most meals are under $17. The taste could make a blind man go cripple. I can't wait to take my mom she is going to love it.

Amy Ruth's really good so if you plan to eat here you might want to call ahead. The weekends can get crazy. I got there yesterday to be waiting outside in a line like a Nike hyperstrike release.

Side note: Amy Ruth's is opened 24 hours on the weekend but customer will incur a 18% service charge during the overnight hours.
