I kicked myself last night after watching this movie. Last year, I had an opportunity to watch the premiere with the homie, Nick while we were at Agenda Trade Show last year.
The Man who Souled the World.
The Man Who Souled the World was so great. The movie centers around a skateboard mogul/freestyle champion Steve Rocco.

The irreverent genius who transformed the skateboard industry from corporate to skater owned with a do-it-yourself punk attitude. Steve Rocco has been called many things throughout this life; snake, marketing genius, asshole, hustler, and possible father of street skating.
Steve's antics and entrepreneurial impact on the skateboard business are huge and have ultimately had a significant influence on broader mainstream culture. Rocco was the founder and co-founder of companies: Blind, World Industries, Big Brother, and co-conspirator to B!THCH Skateboards.
There is good and bad in this film but definitely a worth watch for any skateboarder aficionado. Personally I enjoyed to see the faces behind the scenes. As a store, I have dealt with many of the companies involved in this story. Shouts to Eastern Skateboards!!!!
Look for appearances by: Steve Rocco, Rodney Mullen, Jason Lee, Jesse Martinez, Daewon Song, Natas Kaupas, Danny Way, Mark Gonzales, Mike Carroll, Pat Duffy, Kris Markovich, Jovontae Turner, Chris Pastras, Daniel Castillo, Wee Man, Jeff Tremaine, Johnny Knoxville, Per Holknekt, Randy Colvin, Rich Novak, Rick Kosick, Ron Chatman, Rudy Johnson, Sean Cliver, Shiloh Greathouse, Steve Berra, Tim Gavin, Chet Thomas, Clyde Singleton, Colin McKay, Ed Templeton, Marc Mckee, Fausto Vitello and many more...
I have to keep this one simple due to each person, artist, skater, film buff will take and think something completely different after seeing this movie. No worries, no hype: ITS A GREAT MOVIE!!! Simply put. If your a skater go to BoundlessNY or any finer skate retailer, buy it, and start enjoying it now. DVD purchase comes along with a free subscription to TRANSworld Skateboarding Magazine.
