THIS STORE IS A GEM!!!!
At first glance, I thought its one of those furniture stores in Soho. After going downstairs I was amazed. It's like you unlocked the secret garden. Design heaven, Think: Adult Urban Outfitters without the clothes.
The Conran Shop has been around since 1990, with eight stores located in London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Nagoya and Fukuoka selling a carefully chosen selection of contemporary, well-designed furniture and home furnishings, much of it exclusive.

The Coran shop is part of the Conran Holdings(parent company). Conran Holdings is made up of Conran Limited, Conran & Partners, The Conran Shop and D&D London (formerly Conran Restaurants) which are overlooked by Terence Coron.
Famed entrepreneur, Sir Terence Coron is a English designer, restaurateur, retailer, and writer, also knighted in 1983(wow!!). He also co-founded FSC-certified wood furniture maker Benchmark Furniture.
Great store.. .
