I'm currently without CS3(was teaching myself Flash), so now I spend a lot of time talking fashion and reading books(a little 'scene' gossip here and there with shops).
I recently heard, well was confirmed, that Arrive(Miami) was closed. I heard something of the sort awhile back but I didn't believe it. They have been closed for at least a month maybe even for awhile now. I personally thought they had a nice store and some great brands(Vienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, Dior, Ksubi, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Superfine, wait...Comme des Garcon + Jhung Yuro + Junya Watanabe, WTF!!!!! WOW!).
I guess you never really know the inner working. I am surprised but actually sadden to see them go if this is true. Retail is a vicious women and has started to show face for those mistakes taken during and after the "hoody years" aka streetwear's golden age.
I wouldn't consider Arrive(Miami) core streetwear but I know retail, in a whole, has not really been great to most.
Speaking of which, I know a vicious streetwear store rumor that is actually TRUE. Remember this date!!! I going to marinate on this topic and let it play out then right before it happens, which will be soon, then I will fill everybody in(to an extent).
Spend them stimulus dollars, you know the government tracks those rebate checks with sales during the receiving months. We are kinda pushing are economy into a deeper recession by saving those checks. That is just a broad anaylsis but true.
