My definition of a good brand is of course their sell through, marketing, and quality but also being respected by peers in their field. I mean it is easy to fool the public but those in the industry are not so easy.
Yesterday, when I attended the Alexander Wang Sample sale I saw huge super famous models rummaging like high school girls
through the sales clothes. That is when you know your doing it right. I know models are probably the best judge given their vast experience in wearing others people clothes for a living.
The sale was crazy, women at sales are like crazed wolves. I almost saw like 2 possible altercation at the Alexander Wang sample sale over garments(Guys don't go to a Barney's CO-OP sale on 18th, you might not make it back alive). Pure madness. Women will grab every item in their sight even if they are not going to buy it, just to hold it until they have made their final desicion. That is exactly why their is so much cattiness at these sales, it's too funny.
Of course there was all the guys against the walls holding purses and waiting. I see this one guy at every sample sale, so miserable.
You too might have to be that guy today.
Side Note: they take cash and credit card with a $200 minumium. Guys this is when you cake off, buy it wholesale say it's retail.
