Museum of African American Cinema (MoAAC) and the Apollo Theatre Foundation will be remembering the legendary "Godfather of Soul" with a James Brown film festival. Come celebrate the early birthday(actually May 3rd) of the "hardest working man in show business" with a 90 minutes of rare footage and historic performances.
This event is free but the seating is limited.

While your in the area or if your a fan, check out the James Brown exhibit. Over 400 items displayed including gold records, legal documents(why??), 8-tracks, and tons of rare James Brown paraphernalia! exhibit runs:
